Francesca Mistretta, beloved mother, grandmother, and pillar of her community, has reunited in eternal rest with her loving husband, Antonio Mistretta.
Born in Sicily, Francesca brought with her to America the strength, tradition, and warmth that defined her life. A talented seamstress by trade, she wove not only garments but also a legacy of love and resilience that touched everyone who knew her. She was a wonderful cook, and her kitchen was always filled with the comforting aromas of her cherished recipes — meals that brought people together and created lasting memories.
She was the “Fran” in Frantonis, a name that lives on as a testament to her dedication and entrepreneurial spirit.
Francesca was the proud mother of three children: Steve (Julie), Donna (Doug), and Michael (Dorothea). Her life was further enriched by her eight adoring grandchildren: Christina, Ariana, Antonio, Nicholas, Francesca, Anthony, Michael, and Ellesandra, each of whom brought her immeasurable pride and joy.
A devoted member of the St. Anthony Society, Francesca lived her faith with grace and humility. She loved music, dancing, and the company of others — her joy was infectious and her presence lit up every room she entered.
Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by the many lives she touched. Francesca’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and a life beautifully lived.
In her honor, may we continue to gather, to dance, to cherish one another — just as she would have wanted.
