Florence E. Zadik

Florence, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and devoted member of the Episcopal Church community, passed away on July 7, 2025, surrounded by family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith and creativity.

Florence was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael J. Zadik. She was a devoted mother to Michelle Buffa and her husband Mike, Jennifer Ragazzo and her late husband Gary and Michael J. Zadik Jr. and his wife Keri. She was “Mama” to her 5 grandchildren - Kaitlin, Michael, Bryan, Isabella and Jenna—each of whom brought her immense pride and joy.

A faithful member of her church, Florence found strength and solace in her spiritual community, where she was always eager to lend a hand. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, calling her to participate in several ministries and even becoming a Commissioned Chaplain.

Florence had a true passion for travel and the adventures it offered. She also had a gift for creating beauty with her hands. Whether knitting a cozy blanket or crocheting a delicate keepsake, she poured love into every stitch. Her handmade creations are treasured reminders of her artistic spirit.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to The Episcopal Church of The Resurrection (Williston Park, NY) or Good Shepherd Episcopal Church (Hilltown, PA) or to a charity of your choice.

Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace. Her memory will forever be a blessing.
