Karl J. Tremmel, 68, of Williston Park, passed away on June 17, 2025. Karl was a dedicated father, grandfather (Papa), and Engineer as well as a former volunteer fireman in the Williston Park Fire Department. 

He lived every day to its fullest with love, compassion, and optimism. He was passionate about his family and friends, animals, airplanes, fishing, motorcycles, scuba diving, and building anything and everything with his hands! 

Karl is survived by his wife (his high school sweetheart) of 47 years, Jean, his daughters & their respective spouses Maureen and Michael Prunella, Lisa Chun, Barbara and Michael Alves, and his five grandchildren Jason, William, Megan, Matthew, and Nicholas. 

A visitation will be held on June 27 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home located at 49 Hillside Avenue Williston Park, NY 11596
