Paul Anthony Marsh, aged 81, passed away on April 18, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Paul was born on June 4, 1943, on Staten Island, NY, to Robert and Helen Marsh. He was a proud resident of East Williston, NY. He was a devoted husband to the love of his life Ann who he married on October 7, 1972, on Staten Island. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann of 52 years, son, Paul Jude Marsh (Kathryn), daughter, Christine Ann Marsh (Jordan Lau) and grandchildren, Margaret and Anthony, as well as countless others whose lives were touched by his generosity.

If you didn't know Paul Marsh by his moustache, then he was recognizable throughout “The Ridge” as walking the most stubborn corgi, Gus, now forever by his side.

Paul was the embodiment of a good neighbor; he was known to his neighbors as the man who was always there to lend a hand. He could always be found tinkering with cars, hunting upstate at The Farmhouse, or doting on any animal that wandered across his path. Jack-of-all-trades barely begins to personify his skill set. 

Paul was a true middle child, the 7th of 13 children. Growing up in such a large family helped shape his steady, dependable nature. He believed in doing what was right, not what was easy, and carried a deep, unwavering sense of responsibility for those around him. Paul was a true example of quiet strength and selfless kindness, he lived a life defined not by words, but by actions. When someone needed help, he didn’t ask questions or make excuses—he simply showed up, time and time again.

Family and friends are invited to the Weigand Brothers Funeral Home, for visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 on Wednesday, April 23. 

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24, at The Church of St. Mary’s in Roslyn, NY,  at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Old Westbury, NY.
