Obituary of Rose Frodella

Today we remember Rose Frodella, a remarkable woman whose life touched so many. Born in 1931 in Brooklyn, New York, Rose was the ninth of ten children born to Rose and Luigi LaRusso. From an early age, she understood the importance of family, a value that guided her throughout her life.

Rose was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Frodella Sr., and together they built a life filled with love. As a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Rose was the heart of her family, creating a home that was warm, welcoming, and full of love.

Her culinary skills, especially her famous eggplant parmigiana, and stuffed artichokes became a centerpiece at every family gathering. These meals were more than just food; they were expressions of care, bringing everyone together. The laughter, conversation, and joy around her table will remain cherished memories for all who had the privilege of being there.

Beyond her love for cooking, Rose had a sharp wit, a contagious laugh, and a sense of humor that brightened even the darkest days. Her stories, jokes, and playful spirit made every gathering a celebration. She taught those around her the importance of family, resilience, and finding joy in the little things.

Though she is no longer with us, her love and lessons live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her. Her legacy is not just in the meals she cooked or the care she gave, but in the way she made people feel—cherished, loved, and always welcome.

We will always carry her memory in our hearts, and her love will continue to guide us in the years to come.
