Obituary of Dominic E. Casillo

Dominic E. Casillo

1933- 2025

Dominic passed away peacefully on Saturday,March 22, 2025. Son of Patsy and Angelina Casillo of Richmond Hill, NY. Dominic was a long time resident of Roslyn, New York and Hallandale Beach, Florida. He  served as a Corporal in the United States Army and then went on to receive a Business degree from LIU in Brooklyn, NY.

He then received his CPA License and opened his CPA practice in Richmond Hill  before relocating to Floral Park, Queens.

Dominic married the love of his life, Joyce Felsberg, on April 1st, 1956. Dominic and Joyce were married 62 beautiful years, until she passed on July 10, 2018. They loved to travel and especially enjoyed luxury European Cruises. Dominic enjoyed dancing and music at night clubs with his wife, family and friends and special times at the  famous Copacabana Night Club in NYC. He loved Italian music and songs from most loved  famous singers ,such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin , Tony Bennett and others whose music could be heard in their home, in their car and at most Christmas dinners and family gatherings.  Dominic  loved spending time with family, celebrating special occasions and holidays together. He and Joyce loved the beach and spending time in their Florida home, That's if he could manage to get a few days away from his busy accounting practice during tax season. Dominic lived a full long life with his wife,

Joyce and together they were loved dearly by family and friends.  

Everyone who knew Dominic would say "he was a very kind, gentle man" He will be missed by all who were priveleged to call him their Brother, their Uncle, their friend,or their business associate. 

Dominic is survived by his sisters , Marie and Beatrice and his  brother, Pat Jr. since deceased. His nieces and nephews ; Raymond,  Diane, Frank Jr since predeceased, Donna ,Karen, Angela , Frankie Joe, Carolyn, Chrissy and Patti. as well as his grand nieces and nephews.
