Obituary of Bruce McPartlan

Bruce McPartlan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 75. Bruce was born on February 10, 1950, in Mineola, NY, where he lived his entire life.

Bruce was a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served his country with honor. He enjoyed a long and successful career at Xerox, where he worked for over 35 years. In addition to his professional achievements, Bruce was passionate about music, playing both the drums and guitar. He was an avid swimmer and had a deep love for dogs, always ready with a kind word and a smile for any furry friend.

Bruce was known for his incredible kindness and generosity. He was the kind of man who would do anything for anyone, and those who knew him could always count on him, no matter the circumstance. He was a devoted family man, and his love for his wife, Sandra, his children, Christine and Robert, and his grandchildren, Rose, Simon, and Violet, was immeasurable.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Sandra McPartlan; daughter, Christine Mehra, and son-in-law, Dan Mehra; son, Robert McPartlan; and his cherished grandchildren, Rose, Simon, and Violet Mehra. He is also fondly remembered by many extended family members and friends.

A wake will be held at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home in Williston Park, NY, on Friday, March 14, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM.

Bruce will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
