Obituary of Josephine Rose Bellini

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Josephine Rose Bellini, who left us on March 11, 2025, at the age of 94. Born in Manhattan, NY on August 27, 1930. Josephine was a devoted wife, mother, grandparent, and great grandparent, known for her loving spirit, family values, and her strong wit. Josephine leaves behind a family filled with love and cherished memories.

Josephine, also known as Grandma JoJo/Gma/GGma, is survived by her son, George Bellini, daughter in law Eileen Bellini; her son Anthony Bellini; her son, Louis Bellini, daughter in law Johanna Bellini; her daughter Theresamarie Carman, son in law Thomas Carman; her daughter Karen Hanley, her son in law Billy Hanley. As well as her cherished grandchildren, Geoffrey, Gabrielle, Alexandra, Nicole, Adrianna, Sophia, and Isabella. Last but not least, her great grandchildren, Genevieve, George, Arianna, and Cecilia Josephine.

Throughout her life, Josephine exemplified the value of hardwork and strength, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her journey on this earth was marked by love, compassion, and unwavering love of her family. She was also an avid gardener, cultivating a beautiful garden filled with flowers and plants. Josephine was a devout Mets fan, and never missed a game. Let’s Go Mets!

In celebration of her life, we invite those who knew Josephine to join us in honoring her memory. Rest in Peace, Josephine. Your legacy of love and spirit will live on through your family.
