David Allen Dubocq Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father, David Allen Dubocq. He left us at age 86 on Thursday, March 6, 2025 surrounded by his daughters and granddaughters listening to the music of Dean Martin. David leaves behind his three daughters; Sandy Roth, Diane Dubocq and Donna Dubocq, along with granddaughters; Ashley Roth, Sarah Roth, and Lyndsey Roth.

David served in the United States Navy 1957-1961. He was employed by the Nassau County Police Department, Marine Bureau 1964-1992. He joined the Albertson Fire Company January 1963. Little did David know joining this organization would truly define his life as a public servant, member of a lifelong brotherhood of first responders, and gain lasting friendships that would celebrate and comfort him at every turn that life would present.

To celebrate David's remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a service will be heId at Weigand Bros Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. David will be laid to rest at the Searing-Roslyn United Methodist Church, Albertson on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
