Obituary of Joan M. Stuhler

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Joan (Bambauer) Stuhler, age 94
who peacefully left us on January 29, 2025.

Born August 22, 1930 in Queens, New York, Joan was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was one of ten siblings and lived a life full of love, kindness and compassion. Joan was known for her warmth, her unwavering support for her family and her strength.

Her dedication to her family was immeasurable and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Joan enjoyed cooking, reading romance novels, listening to songs by Frank Sinatra and Glenn Miller and spending time and traveling with her family. She was the heart and soul of our family and she will be dearly missed.

Joan lived a long and happy life and has now joined her husband, Fred, and daughter, Ellen Fontana in heaven.
She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law: Mary and Steven Paulich, Gail and Vinny Corsello and Linda and Mike Malerba. Also, her grandchildren:  Anthony (Fontana), Steven (Paulich), Samantha (Michael Dyson), William (Suraci), Lauren (Jim Crudele) and Vincent (Corsello) and her great-grandchildren: Adrianna, Mia and Olivia Dyson and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

You will forever be in our hearts. Rest in peace, Mom (Nanny).
