Kearney, John F. “Jack, 60, of Carle Place

Died peacefully at his home on December 4th, 2024.

Jack was born on February 7, 1964 in Brooklyn, NY.

He was the beloved son to the late Jack and Patricia Kearney; and loving brother to Mary Hopkins (Nolan), and Peggy Edwards (Dennis). Uncle Jack cherished his niece Sarah and nephews Ryan, Kevin and Brian so very much.

He graduated from Carle Place High School in 1983 then worked for the Long Island Railroad for 27 years until retiring in 2019. He had a love for the Beatles and classic rock, movies and history. However, nothing was more important to Jack than his family and friends. In the last several years of his life, Jack developed a strong faith going to mass every Sunday and truly believing in a better life. He will be greatly missed, but we find peace knowing he is with his mother and father again.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, December 28th, 11am. Our Lady of Hope R.C. Church, Carle Place.
