Dan was my classmate at Regis HS and both started out in the same Freshman homeroom (it's a 'thing' among our classmates). We both went on to LeMoyne College. I was happy to reconnect with him on our 50th Reunion. On behalf of all your classmates, Dan, "Ave atque Vale!" ('Hail and Farewell!'). Joe Coyne PhD, Class Secretary, Regis HS Class of 1964

My sincere condolences to Dan’s family. You are all in my prayers. I know he will be missed by all.
Dan and I were classmates at Regis High School. I had not seen Dan for many years, but I am happy that we were able to reconnect the weekend of our 50th reunion.

Dan, has been the love of my life for 12 years. We had a bi coastal relationship that worked well for the both of us.
Dan was a complete gentleman in every sense of the word. He was kind hearted and generous.
We packed a lot of living into 12 years.
Los Vegas 2x, Hawaii 2 x, Arizona 2 x, Calgary Canada, Vancouver BC, California, North Carolina, South Carolina,
NYC, Alaska, Florida, key west, Italy 2x, Ireland, of course Georgia!! He was the best traveling partner!!
We loved music and we really loved dancing. He was my skiing partner and racquetball partner and just a great partner in general. I am completely heartbroken at this time. He was my life, I will love him to the moon and back always. God speed Daniel and I will see you on the other side.

I first met Dan in the fall 1964 when we were both freshmen at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, Since we were both from the NYC metropolitan area and graduates of Jesuit high schools, we kind of gravitated toward each other. Although we roomed together in both our sophomore and senior years and shared many experiences throughout our college experience, we also celebrated our differences. I majored in history and ran cross country and track and Dan majored in classical languages and formed a band. I was louder and more impulsive, and Dan was quieter and more reserved. Later, we dialogued about our differing political perspectives. Nevertheless, we always found common ground on many issues regarding life, well-being, and happiness. As he would say, we were sort of kindred spirits. After college, we both served in the military and started our careers and our families. Over the years that followed, we were sure to remain in touch on a regular basis. I would visit when business took me to Florida or Atlanta, and Dan would come to the Jersey shore where, over our preferred cocktails, we would spend time discussing what he called the vagaries and vicissitudes of life. They say that you can count on one hand the number of true friends that you have in your life. I can say, without a moment’s hesitation, that Dan was my very best and true friend. More than anything, I will miss his good humor, his sharp thinking and wise counsel, and his friendship. May he rest in peace.
