CRIMMINS – Thomas F. of Bellerose Village on September 17, 2016. Cherished husband of Catherine (nee McWeeney). Beloved father of Thomas (Alison), Michael (Jenna), Kathleen, Mary and Megan. Devoted grandfather of Thomas, Robert, James and John. Loving brother of Elizabeth Nowak, Joan McCann, Francis Crimmins. Predeceased by brother Edmund Crimmins and parents Anne and Edmond. Dear brother-in-law of Ellen Crimmins, Glen Crimmins, Raymond McCann and Daniel McWeeney and loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues and friends. Dearest friend of Bro. John Dunning. Tom was a member of the Marist Brothers for eleven years, educated at St. Benedict's school in the Bronx, Marist Juniorate in Esopus NY, Marist College and St. John's University. He was a teacher, counselor, and basketball coach at Resurrection-Ascension School, Christ the King HS, Maria Regina HS and Elmont Memorial HS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 7-9, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 at Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park. Funeral Mass on Thursday at St. Gregory the Great, Bellerose, NY at 9:45. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "The Marist Brothers Center at Esopus" or to the "Thomas F. Crimmins Memorial Scholarship" for an Elmont Memorial H.S. graduating senior.
