MARY E. LAWE, 90 YEARS OLD, NEE HEANEY, NATIVE OF LONGFORD, IRELAND, CURRENT RESIDENT OF FT. LAUDERDALE, FL., PASSED AWAY MONDAY FEBRUARY 9, 2015 AT 3:30 PM IN ATLANTA, GA. THE WIDOW OF JOHN E. LAWE, FORMER TRANSPORT WORKERS UNION PRESIDENT, MOTHER OF DESMOND, DEIRDRE AND PATRICIA, GRANDMOTHER OF ZACHARY AND GWYNETH LANDO.MARY EMIGRATED FROM IRELAND TO NEW YORK CITY IN 1947, WAS A BOOK KEEPER AT BLOOMINGDALES FOR ~5 YEARS AND MARRIED JOHN JUNE 21, 1952.MARY LIVED A LONG AND FRUITFUL LIFE AS AN ACTIVE HOMEMAKER, RAISING THREE CHILDREN AND VOLUNTEERING FOR THE BRONX COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS (REGISTRATIONS AND ELECTIONS) AND IN LATER YEARS AT VITAS INNOVATIVE HOSPICE CARE IN BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA.MARY IS SURVIVED BY HER THREE CHILDREN AND THEIR SPOUSES, DESMOND AND MARYLYNN LAWE OF PORT WASHINGTON LONG ISLAND, DEIRDRE AND MICHAEL BEHRENS OF FT.
