Lumpp Raymond George of East Williston New York, on January 16, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Anne Lumpp. Loving father of William Lumpp (Nancy), Joanne Imundo (Marc), John Lumpp (Joette) & Mary O'Hara (Peter). Cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren & great grandfather of 11. Dear brother of Wilbur Lumpp. Raymond served his Country proudly during WWII, played basketball for NYU as well as the NY Knicks, he was the athletic director for 50 years for the NY Athletic Club. Mr. Lumpp was the oldest living US Olympian Gold Medal winner in basketball in the 1948 London Olympics. Visitation at the Weigand Bros FH 49 Hillside Ave Williston Park NY Sunday & Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Tuesday 11:15 AM at St. Aidan's Church. Interment at Locust Valley Cem. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Marc R. Imundo Memorial Scholarship Fund.
